Over the years I have been attending the TT I have built up a good relationship with various radio stations not only on the Isle of Man but local and as far away as Canada and America.

I have recorded features while sitting at home having breakfast, conversing with someone in Canada and within 24 hours I could hear my TT appraisal being transmitted over the internet.

Internet radio is the latest way and I find the whole concept fascinating and have enjoyed working with Ken Venus of BIKERRADIO MAGAZINE.

This year I will be reporting to BikerFM here in the UK.

But let me take you back.........

We noticed a caravan parked on the prom and found out it was the newly hatched Manx Radio. We went to chat with the occupants of the caravan and were then interviewed as fans. Over time the station moved into the "Billiard Hall" actually next to the hotel where we were staying each year so we often popped in to say Hi!

Eventually Manx Radio moved into the huge building on Douglas Head and even now I am invited to give an appraisal or a reminiscence a few times while I am over.
